Store hours:  Sunday-Thursday 3 PM - 9:30 PM  
Friday-Saturday   3 PM - 10 PM. 
Delivery hours:  4 30 - 9 PM everyday

Q3: Is 'zaw 100% organic?

Our crusts are 100% organic, featuring Bob's Red Mill flours.  In addition, all of our produce, and our ruby red tomato sauce is also 100% organic.  Wherever and whenever possible, we incorporate sustainable practices in every part of our business.  When choosing our ingredients, we try to find items that have as minimal a carbon footprint as possible.  In many cases, this means choosing local suppliers who are committed to sustainable practices, but who may not
technically meet the USDA standards for organic certification.  We try to look at the big picture with our business, which is much more complex (and frankly we think better) than simply being organic.

Q4: What other sustainable practices do you employ at 'zaw?

We like to think we're the most sustainable food operation around, but you be the judge!  While the list of sustainable practices we employ is a long one, here are a few examples:

• All of our deliveries to our customers are done by bicycle.  We're firmly committed to reducing the number of cars on the road in Seattle!

• Our stores feature "green walls" that work to purify the air in our indoor spaces, providing our customers and staff a much healthier indoor environment. 

• We take great care during the building of our stores to use sustainable materials (such as 2nd growth wood for all our wood cabinets) and practices throughout the construction process.

• We deliver all our ingredients to our stores in refillable and reusablecontainers. 

• We try to minimize the packaging we provide by not using pizza boxes, and putting our salads in Bio-Plus Earth cartons, which are made from recycled paperboard.

• We give priority to supporting local suppliers in every aspect of our business.
